Affiliate Disclosure

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
GatherPop is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What this means in practice
When GatherPop suggests decor, tableware, barware, or other physical products, some of those suggestions link to Amazon. Those links carry a tag that identifies us. If you follow one and buy something, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale.
You never pay more because of it. The price you see is the same price you would see arriving at Amazon any other way. The commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your pocket.
How it affects what we recommend
It does not. Product suggestions are generated from the theme and vibe of the night you are planning — a "desert disco" board suggests a disco ball because the board is full of disco balls, not because a disco ball pays better than a tablecloth. We do not accept payment from brands for placement, we do not run sponsored suggestions, and we do not reorder results by commission rate.
We would rather lose a commission than suggest something that makes your party worse. If we ever introduce paid placement, it will be labelled as such, plainly, on the item itself.
Where affiliate links appear
- In the decor and tableware section of a night plan inside the app.
- On guest pages, where a "set the scene" section may appear.
- Occasionally within articles in our hosting guides, where a specific product is genuinely part of the advice.
We do not put affiliate links in emails or push notifications. Amazon's program terms restrict promotion outside your own site and app, and we keep well clear of that line.
Other programs
We may join other affiliate or referral programs over time — for example, grocery delivery or streaming service referrals. If we do, this page will list them, and the same rules apply: no paid placement, no reordering by commission, and clear labelling.
Your privacy
Following an affiliate link takes you to Amazon, where Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply. We receive aggregate reporting on clicks and commissions. We do not receive, and cannot see, what else you browse or buy on Amazon. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
